Capital of Armenia - Yerevan

Many of the tourists visiting Armenia consider that a visit to Armenia cannot be complete without seeing the sights of  the capital Yerevan. The beautiful view of the city opening from the Cascade is of special importance for almost all tourists. Lake Sevan

Dilijan

Other spots like Haghartsin Monastery, Goshavank, the surrounding forests and Parz Lich also stand out receiving a special attention by tourists.


Noravank

As the tourists themselves say, there are many beautiful monasteries in Armenia, and the example of Noravank is one of the most beautiful in the whole country. They usually get an impression as if the red rocks with transparent brick protect the monastery. Noravank was built in the 13th century, maintaining its existence even in the conditions of Mongol invasions. Thousands of people visit Noravank every year.


Mount Aragats

Mount Aragats is another beautiful attraction in Armenia. It is the highest peak of Armenia, and around it you can see paintings with a history of hundreds of years. Snow covers the peak almost all year round, but Aragats Mountain can be climbed in summer. The most southern of the four peaks is the easiest to climb, while the northern peak, at about 4,000 meters, is the most difficult.


Gyumri

The second largest city of Armenia, Gyumri, of course, could not leave tourists indifferent. As the tourists themselves say, everyone who goes to Armenia for the first time must definitely visit Gyumri. The city is located in the northwestern part of Armenia and represents the unique architecture preserved from the 19th century. Many of the most important cultural centers of Armenia are also located in Gyumri.


Tsakhkadzor

Apart from the unique mountain scenery, Tsaghkadzor is a great place for winter sports lovers as it is the best ski resort in the country. In Tsaghkadzor you can find the best comfortable hotels, as well as some of the biggest entertainment centers in the country.  Kecharis Monastery is also located in Tsaghkadzor, which was founded at the beginning of the 11th century and is one of the most important religious complexes in Armenia.
